Ritchey rims

Does anyone have experience with (newer model) ritchey rims? Are they strong?

I have Rithchey Aero OCR's stock on an '03 Fuji Cross and they seem to be fairly strong. I ride on alot of bumpy varied terrain from asphalt to sandy pee gravel. But I don't like the seam in the braking surface that grabs with each revolution. I couldn't tell you about their newer aftermarket wheels though.
