Cycling shoe fit?
View Full Version : Cycling shoe fit?
I was just curious... do you want your shoes to be snug or to have some wiggle room??
Is this the rule or personal preference?
There are no rules. Here's my take: first off you don't want your foot slipping around. That being said you don't want your toes all mashed up so the answer is yes to snug and yes to wiggle room (at least for the toes). Plus, a leather shoe will surely stretch. My advice would be to find a shoe that is snug (wearing a thin bike sock), but not to the point of cramping your toes. A decent 3 strap shoe will allow some adjustments via the straps.
Thanks for the replies they helped a ton....:)
