I want to put the seatpost (Mike Burrows Carbon) a bit higher because the new seat is not as high as the old one. The problem is that It seems to be immovable. I removed the screw completely but no momevement is possible.
I have an MCR1 frame from Giant. The frame has an integrated aluminium shaft for the seatpost

Anybody have an idea to fix it?

Was the post greased when it was first adjusted/installed?
