TT bike for £1500 ($2600)
View Full Version : TT bike for £1500 ($2600)
Hi,
I am wanting to know what time trial bike people would have for the above price. It can be an off the shelf one, or a custom biuld.
I would like some help in this matter as i don't know which parts to choose.
Thanks
Any advice good or bad about certain components will be useful.

Would there be any huge differences in ride between the P2K and the Dual?
Or is it worth paying the extra to get the P2K?

There is not a huge amount of difference between the two, I'd just go on down to the LBS and have a look. Cervelo, from Canada, is available in a lot of places in California, so you should have no trouble finding a shop that has them in the UK, although I could be wrong. All Cervelo's seem to be good deals though. FWIW.
Cheers,

I believe the p2k has a more aero fork, better aerobars, better crankset, and perhaps a better wheelset. the more aero fork and the rear wheel cutout will buy you a few seconds in a 40km tt. you have to satisfy yourself that the upgrades and a couple of handfuls of seconds are worth the extra cash. 18 months ago I felt they were, and I still feel that way today. dual or p2k, you'll still have a great bike for the money.
