Knobblies to slicks
View Full Version : Knobblies to slicks
It is becoming more and more difficult to get slick tyres in a knobbly market. There is a
marketing difficulty with them as people instinctively adn incorrectly believe that they cannot
grip in the wet.
After years of research the Green Tyre Company of Cork Ireland have come up with yes....
A tyre (tire to Americans) Razor!
This piece of high-tech equipment, which is not cheap (costs 180 Euro) uses a combination of lasers,
hot irons and grinding wheels to turn your cheapo knobblies into ultraslicks. A side benefit is that
knobblies are dirt cheap.
