Knowing that there are a ?few? photographers subscribed to urw, can I
advertise Webshots http://www.webshots.com/
They have thousands of professional pictures which you can use as wallpaper
and/or screensaver. You are offered four new ones per day, of which I
normally take two or three. Any subject you can think of except nudes. I
stick to nature scenes, animals etc. and have a gigabyte already.
They also have millions of amateur pictures where you can make your own
photos into wallpaper and/or screensaver. The down side is that anybody
else can download them as well.
There is the usual free offer which never expires, but IMO the paid for
service at $2.49/month is well worth while.
I have no connection with them except as a customer
