i am presently replacing the campag chorus cassette on my neutron rear wheel and have discovered wear on the freewheel body of the hub where the sprockets are mounted. some of the splines have up to 1mm wear
does this part need changed as well:confused:

I was wondering how many miles you have on those whhels? I just bought a pair of Neutrons myself, so, that could be a concern for me in the future.

does this part need changed as well:confused:You've got a thin steel cog bearing against a soft aluminum hub body. The campy splines are deep enough as opposed to shimano that it usually isn't an issue. If it is an issue,then the hub body may be too soft.

You've got a thin steel cog bearing against a soft aluminum hub body. The campy splines are deep enough as opposed to shimano that it usually isn't an issue. If it is an issue,then the hub body may be too soft.

It should be available as a replacement part. Go to your LBS and check their Quality Bicycle Products (QBP) catalogue. They have a whole slew of Campagnolo parts, including wheel parts.
