View Full Version : Bike Frame .... Decisions Decisions

g'day guys,

well i am contemplating of purchasing my second road bike frame and building it up with Campag Chorus and Eurus wheels. However, I have a big decision to make. At the moment I am torn between two frames. One is the Kuota Ksano and the other Bianchi Carbon Mono (2004 model). I have heard that the Bianchi Carbon bikes (with the aforementioned goupset and wheels) tend to be a bit heavy compared to say Giant carbon for the price you pay. I can be wrong here so I like to hear from Bianchi owners how they feel about their bianchi. Also has anyone here own a Kuota Ksano and how does it feel riding it ? I hoping to achieve a bike a little over 7kgs. As for the remaining parts saddle, handle bars, and seat post havent decided yet will be open to any recommendations from the forum.

i will really appreciate your feedback.

thanks
ekynox

i've got a Bianchi Cross Concept (for Cyclo) and I LOVE it. For my road bikes I've got a Moots Vamoots (ti) and a Trek (carbon) and the Vamoots is so much stiffer and responsive....you may want to compare a top end Ti bike with the Bianchi carbon (although I saw the new Bianchi in the LBS the other day and it looks really sweet).
