Ok, Ok. I'm narrowing my search down to a handful of bikes and (unfortunately) it's going to come down to price (so I can still afford shoes, pedals, etc!!)
I'm considering the Spec. Allez Comp triple and the Cannondale R1000. Yes, the bikes are a bit different but similar in price. I've heard Cannondale's brakes are horrible but the frame perhaps a bit more aggressive. The Spec. has Ultegra everything (DA derailleur) and more "compact" type frame.
So let's have it. What do you guys think? It will come down to test rides and fit I'm sure but I'm interested in any feedback from anybody.
