What kind of bike do you really need for track?
Ok, I have already made a post about a 1st track bike, but I am still looking, and this forum seems a good place for advice. Do you really need a new fancy track bike? As long as it fits, it seems to me the best deal is getting an old (80's) track bike off of ebay. I know this is a vague question, but is that an acceptable option or does someone absolutely have to have a new pista, especially for a beginner? Thanks for entertaining my mutterings.

If it fits, is in good shape, and even better if it's a proper track bike, then anything will do, be it new or used.
