Where are you from, what do you do?
Where from: I live in Frankfort, IL which is about 35 miles south of downtown Chicago, IL.
What do I at the day job: Day job is an Attorney. I do primarily tax law and the usual stuff like real estate, corporate, wills/trusts and business law. Since my office is 1.5 miles from the house, new bike and inline skates are in my future.
Other than that, I ride as much as possible and do several organized rides in IL, IN and Michigan. I am currently looking at upgrading from my TREK 2200 to a Litespeed Ghisallo.

I'm from a very small town in Southern Illinois, I am an Administrative Assistant for the General Manager of a family owned telecommunication company. Started riding a road bike 2 months ago with my husband (he's been a rodie for a year and a half), so far I'm really enjoying it, would love to do a ride/vacation sometime.

Hey people,
I'm in Tarzana, California at the moment. I don't actually do much currently exept ride. I installed hardwood flooring for 17 years until my table saw turned
on me and ripped through my left index and thumb. Ah, State disability.
Now i live to ride and ride to live.

You Americans make me piss my pants. Who gives a shit what you do for a living, and whether you can drive or not? I'll give you some advice just keep riding and training until your legs don't pain you. Then go faster until they pain you more, then turn Pro and mind and pain begin to live with each other. See which one gives way first, in your case I'll bet you don't get past the first lamppost so stop and have a piss on it.If you go back and start reading the thread from the beginning you'll see that it wasn't the Americans who started adding their occupations and other miscellaneous tidbits to their posts. So you should blame your parents instead of Americans for your lack of toilet training.

Just thought I'd answer the question. Sorry to take precious moments out of your day. Please tell me there are friendlier and smarter people that hang out around here.

Hey Bullshit. Who do think you are fooling? A second Cat after a lay off. As far as I know you have to keep up results to keep your Cat. If that was the case I'd still be able to have my Pro license now at the age of 60. As for your mileage it averages out at more than 700 a week while you have a full time job. Go back on the drugs boy. Walter Mitty are you?Not only are you not toilet trained you can't do simple math worth a crap. If the op meant since beginning of July that's 175 miles per week, if he meant since the end of July it's about 233 miles per week. Either way sounds possible to me for a Cat 2 racer. Hell, I'm a 40 year old who works 60 hours a week and commutes on a mountain bike and I average about 120 miles per week. You need to take a freaking chill pill.
