Vibration/noise when freewheeling?
View Full Version : Vibration/noise when freewheeling?
I have a Cannondale R2000 with Ultegra gear and so far I've been pleased with the bike and the equipment with no problems except the usual wear and tear replacements but just recently I've noticed an occasional, [and I say occasional because it only happens about 1 in 3 times] noise and vibration when I'm freewheeling, if I peddle it seems to disappear.
If anyone has had a similar problem or could offer any advise I'd be very grateful
Thank you

Well is you pedal instead of peddle... it will help :}
Is you rear hub Ultegra?
The ratchet and pawl should work the same each time you coast. If not, you may have a freehub that needs replacing.

English must be a second language for you.

No, I did mean peddle, ie. if I stop on the roadside and engage in the illicit sale of narcotics - the noise stops straight away.
Seriosly though thanks for your advise
