Decathlon bike
View Full Version : Decathlon bike
When i bought the Cycling Plus magazine there was a review for the Decathlon Sport 7.1 R. Because i'm looking for a first road bike thats within my budget I thought this looked pretty good. I'm just wondering, where on earth you could get one from? I'm still saving up but my budget will be £400, should I look at other bikes?

Perhaps you don't have Decathlon stores near you, but I would imagine that would be where to get one... Decathlon is a French sporting goods super store. We even have them in Brazil. I would imagine they are built by another bike company in Taiwan, but have no idea who... maybe someone else can help you out there.

I live in Buckinghamshire, England (South-East)
If you can try and tell me more about the bike which could be anything. Because i've only read the review of it and I want an opinion from an actual owner. THanks very much.

Hi, sorry about the lateness with getting back to you. I haven't had a chance to get out on it because of either work or the crap weather.
Anyway I did a 80km cycle at the weekend. WOW it was great - a lot different then a mountainbike.
From what I can see from the bike. It appears quite solid and cycle-able and would recommend it. I'm even thinking about getting one for London, so when I go back, I have something to ride on.
I hope that helps
dmskin ;)))
THanks for the help and comment on the bike.
