new raod bike

older frame, hand built, made of Isiwata steel (sp?)...very comparable to
Reynolds 853.
Ceramic wheels
It's a pretty nice little road bike...It will need a new cassette

I know nothing about raod bikes or biking does this sound like a good bike for $400 :confused: A friend is selling it, this is all I knowabout it

Ask what brand the rims are and how old the ultegra sti's are. From what you've said it's a rip off in my opinion. Could get yourself something brand new for slightly more from a brand like giant or specialized (this would be the case where i live but not sure of us prices)
