"Pantani believes that freedom of choice is important, and that he himself feels less safe when
wearing one due to restricted visibility."

Maybe if he grew some hair it would act as a slipmat to prevent his helmet from sliding
over his eyes.

Pantani and Laurent "Hockey Hair" Brochard are the biggest bitchers because helmets cover up their
distinctive 'dos. The signature hairstyle (or lack thereof) is part of star power, which means
publicity, which is what they are getting paid for (winning races being just one term in that
equation).

Anyway, Marco has a point. He should be wearing a helmet while driving, moreso than while cycling.
