Is this an Arai Drum Brake Hub?
Hi, I've bought this rear hub for my single speed to "match" the Sturmey Archer front drum brake hub. The guy in New York reckons it's an Arai but web searches for arai only bring up the screw on extra brake tandemmers use to prevent blowouts on long descents. I think that this is probably a Sachs hub but would like someone out there to put a name to it! My SS has horizontal dropouts fitted by my LBS I'll send you a pic with the now sold Sturmey 7 speed hub if you like before I was converted to SS! Cheers! Graeme

I dont know what hub that is but it's not an Arai. Have one on the tandem and it does slow you down but slowly.
