old railroad path in Westchester NY

Did anyone ever ride on the paved over railroad that runs from Yonkers, NY up to Brewster, NY. I'm wondering if the pavement is smooth, or broken up in places like old pavement gets.
Also, wondering how the scenery is.

It starts somewhere in or near Bronxville and goes up by Dobbs Ferry~
