I'm thinking about buying a new bike next spring and all of the Felts that I have seen look pretty nice. Does anybody know if they feel and ride as nice as they look. I'm considering the f90, f80 or f70. Thanks.

I own a f80 & like it a lot. Had a few problems with the wheels staying true at first. Now that I ride more I'd spring for at least a 105 groupo though.

I have an F10R and my wife has the F25R, we both love them and they may just be the best bikes we've ever owned. When people ask what I think I say very, very fast -n- nimble. The FELTS are a very responsive bike and oh so quick. I also agree with the 105 pick (F70), it's a great bike for the money, a real bargain. One other thing about the bikes you pointed out, the F70 I t-h-i-n-k, (not positive), comes with carbon stays and that's a big plus.

Good Luck!

Logged on to ask if anyone had an F55 and found your post. Went to a local shop (not mine) to check out Specialized stuff, especially the Roubaix, but saw the Felt and was really impressed. The shop kept trying to push some custom made titanium bike on me; they weren't too interested in showing me anything else. Nontheless, I couldn't get the F55 out of my head, but can't find any reviews.
PS: If I get one it won't be from that dealer, but mine doesn't sell Felt.

I also have a Felt 80. The adjustment of the derailleurs was marginal, but that was the dealer. I like my bike a lot and can't wait to get on the road again!:)

Ha. That's funny. Same thing happened to me. Went in to look at Treks. Ended up with the F55. Really enjoy the ride and no problems - oh except one - stock tires gave me more flats than average (two in first month). Switched em out and flat free since.

The reason I got the F70? I live not too far from hills, and found that this was the best buy triple chainring, 105 equipped bike I found when researching (and it's yellow!).
Weird bit is that, when going to bike shops that I new stocked Felt, the sales people always tried to push me to other brands. I'm not sure if it's a commission thing or what.
Anyway, 6 months and 2400km later, still no problems at all. On the occassional big hill I've peaked at 76 km/h, and it's felt very stable. And then going back up the hill, I've got the extra chainring on the front to help me up (while others are walking their bikes).

Thanks alot for all of this information. i've been riding for about 3 years now whenever i get the chance, which is pretty much only the summer because i'm away at school all year w/o much time to ride. i hope to get a felt sometime in the spring as a little gift to myself for graduating college....

There's a link in

which has the 2006 models.
