Cellular Medicine in Cancer

Cellular Medicine provides a new perspective in the developmental steps of
cancer and its metastasis and new safe, effective therapeutic options.

Choices and Outcomes in Cancer Treatment:
For decades, standard treatment for cancer has consisted of surgery,
radiation and chemotherapy. Radiation and chemotherapy, the most frequently
used therapies, not only are ineffective in providing a cure, but also
indiscriminately attack all cells - healthy and cancerous, causing cellular
damage and destruction of the body's connective tissue, the defense against
cancer metastasis. Both radiation and chemotherapy trigger the development
of new cancers and damage the immune system and body organs. In addition,
these interventions activate enzymes that facilitate the release of cancer
cells from a localized area to spread to other organs.

At Matthias Rath Research, we have achieved a breakthrough in cancer
research by defining the cellular mechanisms involved in cancer
proliferation and metastasis and developed a natural means of controlling
these mechanisms. Efficient control of the spread of a disease by
collagen-dissolving enzyme blocks has been successful with several diseases.
This is especially important in diseases for which orthodox medicine has no
preventive or healing therapies yet. A combination of natural nutrients
formulated to support the body in curbing metastasis and reversing tumor
growth, has been shown to be effective against a variety of human cancer
cell lines, without adverse effects on normal cells.

Let's look at the lies that have to be used to make Dr Rath's concoctions
look good..

Surgery is far and away the most frequently used medical treatment, but it
suits the quacks to refer to treatments that are only used in more
life-threatening or difficult cancers..

>not only are ineffective in providing a cure,

The BIG LIE. Chemotherapy has a high cure rate with lymphoma, leukemias,
childhood cancers and even with metastatic testicular cancer. It
significantly increases the long term cure rate when added to surgery in
breast and colon cancer.

>but also

It attacks mainly rapidly dividing cells, ones that are easily replaced
after treatment,

Not true, but so what? Chemotherapy is almost exclusively used in patients
who have already metastasised, are likely to have already metastasised, or
who have already had the primary tumour removed so that further metastases
cannot occur.

>Both radiation and chemotherapy trigger the development

Not so relevant if a patient has a cancer that untreated (or treated by
ineffective methods) will lead to death. Also, the incidence of additional
second cancers after chemotherapy is a very small percentage at twenty or
thirty years, much less than the gain in cure rate survival when
chemotherapy is used as an adjuvant to surgery. How is it preferable to
let the first cancer kill you off?

Simply repeating the claim that they facilitate metastasis. See above.

I say this is bull****.

Rath offers not a scrap of clinical evidence in support this claim. The
testimonials on his site are even of a shameful quality for a doctor
purporting to be a serious cancer researcher.

Instead he offers numerous tissue culture experiments which may show nothing
more than that his preparation is toxic to any kind of cell if added to the
culture medium. Certainly he has not shown that the proliferation of
normal cells in tissue culture is not affected in the same way. Add enough
of any chemical to a tissue culture and the cells will complain, as
innumerable other cancer quacks have discovered, to their great glee.

Why should I not conclude that this is all a cynical beat-up, designed
merely to sell his products?

I missed something at first reading of this. Of course, Rath is looking for
a niche in the 'alternative' market where a some unfortunate cancer
sufferers are being seduced into NOT having any proper medical treatment of
their primary cancer. So they do remain in permanent dread of metastases.

I have now many examples where such patients have had to watch their
cancers growing and growing, and ulcerating and bleeding, and becoming ever
more painful, while they desperately to cling to "the faith", trying an
ever expanding combination of "alternatives".

It is interesting that despite the evidence of their own senses, such
patients rarely do ever realise they have been sold an extremely evil bill
of goods, or at least I have never seen one admit to this.

In a few cases their choice has been reasonably rational, when the prognosis
with conventional treatment was pretty hopeless anyway, but even those may
have been denied useful palliation.

Indeed. I could add bleach at varying concentrations to my tissue
culture flasks, and quite easily "prove" that it is toxic to tumor cells
at very low concentrations. That doesn't mean bleach is a good therapy
for cancer.

LOL! I'd offer you my prolactinoma(sorry, haven't got anything more
interesting) for use in your experiment but it's in my head at the
moment. <g>
