A friend of mine is in the market for a new bike. Currently she has a Douglas Fusion, but she's thinkinking about getting a Douglas Precision Plus (3/2.5 ti with Reynolds carbon seatstays and Ouzo Pro Fork). She's a perfect fit on her 49 cm Douglas and Colorado Cyclist is having a great sale on the '05 Precision Plus ($1,099 frame and fork). I know it's not a super flyweight frame, but she'll build it with pretty light stuff (Easton EC90 post, Selle San Marco Aspide saddle, Dura Ace Components, Easton Ascent or Ksyrium SL Wheels etc). She's a strong club rider but she doesn't race and she prefers comfort over stiffness. Any thoughts? Thank you.
