HRM, cadance, computer: one or two units?

I'm having trouble deciding between.
VDO C4 DS + Sigma Fitwath or Polar CS 200cad.

I think the VDO is more stable than the polar for electric interference.
But that leaves me with two units on the handlebar instead of one, how is that going to work? Does it matter at all?
