a bro just sent me the race report from some random stage race in the oregon sticks that webcor
won. i think they were the only pro team but from the sound of the report it may as well have
been the tour. i think they have a public mailing list somewhere to get the whole thing if you
actually care. i just gotta share this one part cuz i can't believe a pro team puts this out -
it's freakin beautiful

check it out:

Heading into the left hand turn to start the climb, I asked Jeff "are you ready to see some
fireworks?" He shrugged his shoulders. At the base of the climb I kept it in my big ring
while everyone shifted to their little rings, and powered up the climb and away from the group. Doug
Ollenrenshaw was the only rider able to accelerate onto my wheel as the rest of the pack watched in
shock at the speed and power of my acceleration.

"as the rest of the pack watched in shock at the speed and power of my acceleration."

who writes this stuff? it gets my vote for best rbr quote ever. the funnyest part is that this guy
came in like 5th or something

Its ass deep in stuff like that. Thanks to Chris Moyer for the link to that one, I just about wet my
pants reading about paranoia over getting a spiked bottle before dope testing at Masters Worlds.

It would've been better if it was "shock and awe".
