View Full Version : Need help: caliper brake short bolt/recessed nut on upgraded fork

Vintage

Hello, I just upgraded my roadbike clunker chromoly front fork with kestrel carbon. Apparently the
caliper brake clamp bolt (to the fork) is too short for the new fork. Should I get a longer recessed
nut? Does anybody have one I can buy from? Or should I get a longer clamp bolt? The brake is RSX
caliper year 96. Thanks for any inputs.

Try a bike shop, it's what they do...

E-mail your bike to wreck.bike.tek and let them fix it :)

You've got a short bolt AND recessed nuts? Damn, dude. That sucks.
