How many positions on ST-6603 left shifter

My dura ace left shifter has six postions...two for each chainring. How many does the ultegra ST-6603 have?

Ok..just to make sure. My ST-6503 left shifter (basically the 9-speed ultegra model) only had 4 positions...1 for the small chainrinng, 2 for the middle chainring, and 1 for the large chainring. So they changed the ultegra model for the 10-speed to have 6 positions??
