Thanks Jeff. hehe-it's in the blood. Tomorrow Lance will hurl the gauntlet. I love Alpe D'huez,I had
the honour to ascend the roads on my bike in 89,90,91-got slower each year!!

I was suprised that Lance allowed Virenque to gain so much time. While Virenque will probably not
win the TDF he still could possibly pose a threat. I can certainly see where 2 minutes is not a
worry, but 4 minutes is a concern. Personally I think that Lance is riding defensively so far
this year.

I don't think Lance looked all that great going up the Galibier, but... who knows. I can't imagine
anyone was enjoying themselves going up that hill under the hot sun.
