Another Yawner?
View Full Version : Another Yawner?
I hope this year isn't another yawner. I am hoping for an unexpected surprise tomorrow where a
unknown will win the classic stage. Enter Jaskula-2, if he exists. I don't want Armstrong winning by
a wide margin this year but rather hopefully someone will really throttle him in the mountains. The
favorites aside, because they won't puzzle Armstrong. Need an unknown quality to puzzle Armstong and
scare him. That would be exciting. I have to concede that I do want Lance to win five, that would be
cool, but ****ting his pants all the way! Hey, better then being a yawner!

I couldn't care less who wins at Huez today.
As long as they finish ten minutes ahead of Armstrong that is.....
Yeah maybe Heras or Rubiera will cut loose and destroy the Posties. Damn I forgot they
bought them out.
What chance we repeat the podium again Armstrong Ullrich Beloki

Now that's the way I like it! Perfect stage, not a yawner. Attack after attack from lot of good
riders, aside from Mayo, I think what was happening just behind made for one of the best days on the
famous alpine stage in recent memory. That was great! Got to love Tyler!
So far it's definately not a yawner! See all fans? I almost wish Tyler would win, but Lance has to
get that 5th first.

Here's the deal - if Lance attacks everyone says that it's a yawner because he's too good. If he
sits in the pack and wins his specialties such as the TT, then everyone says it's a yawner because
he didn't show any superiority. If he attacks and kills everyone else like at Sestrierre, everyone
says it's a yawner because he never attacks.
I suppose if the Tour is so damned boring people wouldn't need to watch it, discuss all the little
details about what's happening from the color of Lance's jersey ("He gets better stuff than the
other members of his team") to complaining that Simoni can't stand behind his analysis of being
better than Lance in the climbs after winning the Giro.
