Hi, I know I should be out on my bike, enjoying this glorious weather but the family have decided on
a couple of days of r'n'r, enjoying the garden and as I'm a family man first n foremost..... So,
while here I decided to browse ChapmanCentral, only to find that it's currently unavailable...Guess
it might be weekly maintenance time or somesuch, but putting the call out just in case....I will
retry later ;-) Hope you all enjoyed your rides and nobody suffered heatstroke / dehydration /
riding into brickwall / car. Cheers, Dave.

He said he was changing ISP, and would be down for a while.

Guy said he was going to be changing ISP, which as he is using ADSL means a bit of an outage, it
could be down for a while.

Yes, thanks folks, still here in one piece but as you say the much-heralded change of ISP is
underway. Apparently BT have a mechanism for making a seamless transfer, but they don't tell you
about it until it's too late :-(

Perhaps you could tell us about it. The only way to effect a seamless transfer that I have heard is
to get a second line, get ADSL on that line, cancel the first line (and then presumably have the
number transferred)

God said, "div D = rho, div B = 0, curl E = - @B/@t, curl H = J + @D/@t," and there was light.
