Does anyone know if this newsgroup or any other web sites / forumn are used to hook-up with people
for bike rides ??

I'm in Fleet, Hampshire and looking for people in the evenings and at the weekends for local and
further afield off-road rides.

Join the CTC. They have evening and weekend rides going from a wide range of places. Its the wrong
part of Hampshire I know but have a look at http://www.southhampshirectc.org.uk/ for an example

Simon,

There are forums on www.singletrackworld.com and www.bikemagic.com where people regularly organise
offroad rides all over the country.

I'm actually not that far from you (I'm near Aldershot) so might see you on the trails soon! I'll
look out for your postings on the above forums....

Andy.

Thanks for the link, Neil....I thought Cycling Plus had gone out of business years ago, when the mag
disappeared off the newsstands.

Now, if I could only manage to get their registration system to work, I'd even contribute to their
forums. As web developers, they'd make good cyclists.....

Regards,

Pete.
