Deja Vu on Plateau de Bonascre?

View Full Version : Deja Vu on Plateau de Bonascre?

In 2001: "Lance rode up the final Plateau de Bonascre climb head to head with his main TDF rival Jan
Ullrich and dropped the German champion with a quick attack with 1.5km to race. Lance picked up 23
seconds on Ullrich."

This year every second counts and Lance will probably attack earlier on the
climb.... He should gain a minute on Ullrich tomorrow and at least 1.30 on Monday (Luz Ardiden).
Should be more than enough to win the tour.

Don't be so conservative. He'll attack from the start, and finish so far ahead of everyone else
that all the other riders in the race will be eliminated on time difference...the only stylish way
to win the Tour.
