One for the ladies!!

I am quite a keen leisure cyclist and am 9 weeks pregnant. I have been told that cycling is OK, but would appreciate any advice.

I'm obviously not going to be doing any off road MTB rides but wonder if some moderate road cycling will do me an harm. I'm a little worried that the vibrations from the road might not be healthy. And have been told to not get out of breath too much.

Still want to keep up my level of fitness and muscle though- can you suggest alternatives?

:) thanks:)

:) thanks:)I personally can't see what harm it could do, but check with your doctor. Try walking plenty. It may be better exercise for you being pregnant. I don't think I would have wanted to ride a bike once my stomach started to protrude in case I fell off and hurt the baby!
:)Swimming would be even better!

Hello callko
I wanted to give you advice that stop cycling because you can loose your balance and if your really want to do cycling then It really depends on the roads around you. I used to do quite a lot of off-road and was told to stop all the jolting isn't good!
