Dear Dr. Chung,
I had a heart attack almost six years ago at the age of 47. I have made the
necessary life style changes. I no longer smoke, eat a low fat diet,
exercise daily and so on. I have been taking 20 mg of Lipitor daily and 325
mg of aspirin daily since that time. Would it be ok to take a 80 mg aspirin
instead of the 325 mg? What would any ramifications be if I were to switch
the aspirin dosage to the lower amount? Thank you for any information that
you may provide.
Regards,
