View Full Version : ?review article or book chapter on hydrogenated oils and artery disease
Hi--
Can somebody point to some quality references giving an overview of the
role of partially hydrogenated oils (as in margarines) in blocking arteries?
Something with a bibliography and references to journal articles.
Thanks.

I see a bulletin board with several messages posted. Not clear what
introduction you mean. I'm hoping for a review article in a referreed
journal.

You should be able to upload a *pdf file from the forum under the topic of
trans fats. I came accross this article when it was first written and have
shared it with many of my patients, and it really helps them understand
what trans fats are.

It is not peer reviewed, as you are requesting. Matti has some great
references for you. I am sharing her excellent smc post on the SonoScore
forum for others.
