Hardening of the Arteries
HealthyScore Discussion series #1: Introduction
The discussion series will focus on a model of an artery with various
internal artery lesions

1. The American Heart Association's definition of atherosclerosis.
2. What physical and mental symptoms occur?
3. Diagnostic tools available.
4. Treatment options.
We will start with the earliest known artery lesion often found in the
first years of life to the most advanced and critically unstable artery
lesion usually found after the 4th decade of life.
Other teaching aids such as pathology slides and sound files will be used
occasionally when appropriate.
The HealthyScore Discussion Series is designed for anyone wanting to learn
about hardening of the arteries. It is an open discussion for registered
