Hey Mr Strong...although I live in Perth, as a born-and-bred-Victorian, I absolutely loath those West Coast Eagles.
I was wild with excitement over the game yesterday until 3 quarter time. When I go to work on Tuesday(WA public hol Monday) I will be wearing MP3 headphones so if anyone mentions "the fantastic game" I can turn on the music and drown them out.
Eagles supporters are the worst in the friggin country.
Try living in Perth...it is such a cultural backwater and the folks here are 20 years behind the rest of Australia

Damn Eagles, It was a repeat of the 1994 grand final when we were around 30 pts up at half time and got smashed.

Yeah Im from the Campbelltown area. Im 25 and was riding club C grade early last year until the misfortune of being hit by a car - lost interest in risking my life training.
Have just started to 'get back into it' after being lazy and putting a few kg's on since i stopped.

ocean grove and geelong.
is there a way of riding from melbourne to geelong (and vice verca) without having to wait til the round the bay ride?
i kinda like the idea of a ride that distance without traffic lights at every intersection...

Hi archibald, yep there are plenty of ways to ride, some with lots of traffic (freeway) for a lot of the distance, then the bay trail from werribee to altona, Williamstown , Footscray and the city. This is probably the quickest, dead Flat but lots a wind.

Other ways are through Lovely Banks, Lara, Little River, Werribee Footscray then the city. This would be a bit longer but much nicer ride.

If you want some more detail. PM me
