Purchase help needed by a n00b

Hey Everyone,

I am not completely new to road biking I have been doing it for a year or so, mostly I ride on the road for fun and i have done a couple of olympic triathalons. I am on a bit of a budget and my 7 year old piece of junk road bike need to be replaced.

I have done some research and in my price range I have found the following 3 bikes:

Specialized Allez
Trek 1000
Felt F90

i was wondering if any of you experts out there have any comments on any or all three of those bikes, likes, dislikes, what you have heard etc. Also for a male I am a pretty short rider (5'5") so if any insight can be given into that it would also be helpful, I am planning on getting a 52cm frame.

Finally, would i be better off bying something used that comes with 105 groupset rather than any of the above which i think all come with Sora.

From the three road bikes you have selected, for OD Tri I would only suggest the Felt. The geometry of the Felt is better suited to running off the bike. Have you looked at the OD Felt Tri Bike, the T23? 52cm should be right for you.
