Cader Idris & Welsh climbs

I am thinking of getting some climbing in. The cader Idris always seem a nice part of the world -
can anyone tell me what the road cycling is like.

I will be staying twyn around 20 miles from barmouth - anyone recoomend any routes - say 40
mile runs ?
