When they got married, he didn't have that much. When he was sitting at home after recovering from
cancer and not riding, she sat him down and asked if she should start looking for a job. After that
he started riding.

Pre-nups work only if there is a large wealth disparity at the time of marriage.

If you read his book, he doesn't really seem like he'd be that much fun to be around. Kind of a
grating personality. Just my opinion.

She married him before his return to cycling, for the most part (I think). So she must dig him.

Not only that, but there was no guarantee he would live that long, let alone ride again. Cynical
people who chalk up everything to an ulterior motive are sad.

He didn't start riding again to keep her from working.

Armstrong probably had a net worth of over $1M at the time they got married. Compared to what he has
now, he didn't have much.
