The year before he made the podium he was absolutely tearing up the race in the third week as well.
For someone who had to take the hard road to get there and overcome a fragile (for world class stage
racers, anyway) constitution to deliver in this fashion twice, Bobby has nothing to be ashamed of.
His ITT ride to secure third wasn't exactly "a la Walkowiac" either.
