Any reports on the Hunter Bike Run? Not the best morning for it.
I did a loop of Lake Macquarie on Saturdee. Wasn't much fun doing 50 odd kays into that buffeting gale, but coming home from Doyalson was a ripper ride. I was gonna pick young Kotter up on the way out to Lake Rd, but the angel on my left shoulder told me not to be so mean.
Don't worry Kotter, plenty of time for rides in summer when the weather's better and the girls are out on parade.

Nah, not a big fan of Dickens. "The Accursed Kings" on SBS was pretty good if you don't mind subtitles. (they lied about the adult themes, though :( )
Why no science programs? Is it because a lot of the stuff is dumbed down to make it more palatable to the general viewing audience?
They have cut a lot of the shit out of Dickens while still maintaining the story. I dunno the BBC makes some really good shows.
I dunno with Science shows :S I dont really like learning new things off the tv, I cant go back and look at a previous point or ask questions or pause on a point and jump on the web and look something up.

We wimped out coz of the weather. I'm not a big fan of riding in the rain at the best of times and trying it on a road I don't know with a bunch of people of varying skill levels was not an appealing prospect. (we also slept in :o )
Did a gentle 40k pootle up and down the road when the weather cleared a bit.
But here's a question for the deep thinkers .... Why is it always a head wind coming home? :(

On another subject, I wonder if classic1 went and checked out the Tour of Gippsland?
Missed the Saturday morning crit in Traralgon coz I had to work. Spewin'
Saw the arvo stage inc hill climb and finish. Boring. Small breakaway with the bunch riding piano. Stage was too short and easy too. Disappointing because the climb would have been hard enough to break the field up if they were racing.
Caught up with some people I hadn't seen for a while, so that was good.
