Def Leppard rock. Saved me from severe road rage the other day when I came off the freeway straight into a 3 lane wide car park extending as far as the eye could see. Their version of "Everybody wants a piece of the action" has to be one of the best songs on the planet.

I first laid hands on a set when Damian Grundy was running Bike house...he was trying to off-load Scott Steward's old Alan carbon [INSERT WARNING HERE!!] when he was a pro at Polli-Mobiexport. Could easily squeeze the levers (white hoods....of course) all the way to the bars for a negligble reduction in forward momentum. Scary.Alan Carbons. Don't bag them. At least they look great. :) Followed the scratch bunch in the Warnie the year they had the Aussie based riders. No. 1 spares van:D . It was Steward, Salas and Jamieson vs the home based Poli boys. Didn't matter though, Bulldog won.

I know a bloke who brought two Alans off the Fanini team. Stefano Tommasini had one piece handlebars on his - in 1988. Jerry built jobs though

Sht yeah....great looking bikes. Esp. Steward's that was the size of a farm gate.

Memory hazy....but I reckon he got 4th or 5th in the Corestates USPRO the same year. Beaten by some big names....Keifel, Oravetz, Knickman I think.

hehe saw them live at RLA here in Melbourne a long time ago. :o And even though I do own Hysteria (doesn't everyone?) I can't say I'm a huge fan.

Props to their drummer tho - dude works hard during the live show. :D

Sounds like Ed, 531 and I all remember the same bike. About a 56cm if I remember right;)

One the classiest bits of gear I've ever seen. $7500....in 1992.:eek:was that you??? :) A few guys that hung around Gran Prix Cycles (Stewart Cook's mates) had them.

moving house means no more foxtel for HDT :( so looks like ill be going out to purchase the series of family guy, south park, motogp reviews, WSBK review. gee. this could get expensive!

I gave up on commercial tv, I download what I want to watch. Sure its "illegal" but Im not 6-18months behind everyone in the world and I dont have to stay up late or sit through ads. :D

Watch out for Liam Melville from peloton if he turns up. Current u 15 Aus MTB XC champ, 2nd at state, i think hes road nat champ or Track as well. is fast. can ride.
