Did anyone see the comparison of the E-Type and the DB5 on Top Gear tonight? Crazy price for the tricked up E-Type. :eek:

It certainly would. Unfortunately the DB5 was the wrong car to use for this comparison, it was built as a Grand Tourer, more in line with the Bentley Continentals of the day (and was priced accordingly).
The E-type rather stood alone on price and performance, in fact even Mr Matagi can't think of a car from the era that came close to it.

Sorry...err.....Motobecanes and Gitanes are the worst bikes ever, and handlebar tape should be black unless you have oldschool vinyl tape like me which you can easily clean in which case get whatever colour you like.
ps: How do you clean cycling shorts? How do you pedal? Where is my arse?
Motobecane and Gitane were both good marques before they were bought
out by some megacorporation and turned to shite.
white cloth tape with shellac (tinted any colour), or coloured tape with
clear shellac.
how often are you 'sposed to clean cycling shorts?
please, can we puhleez stop with the bad back discussions? I just about stopped taking pain pills and muscle relaxers (but it was fun). I can almost stand up without wincing and today if I'm lucky I can get back on the bike after a week and a half.
So, whats with this place? I loose internet for the weekend and have 30 pages
to wade through? slow down willya?
But I did watch Danny Deckchair over the weekend so I didn't feel too out of
touch. . .was on the telly here.
