Don't know.
soon as I pulled back on the bars, twang!
Physio says it's not serious, just look after the back and do the exercises and it'll come good.

Right you lot...I'm back! Finally got my head together and am feeling almost human again. Sh*t's still happening but I now have the strength to deal with it.
I had a grief counselling session on Sunday at 'The Daily Planet' and the two therapists were exceptional at relieving a huge amount of built up stress. :D  :D  :D
Life goes on, and now I'm looking forward to my next 40 years!!!

I'm jealous too, I think I said last week that there are a million old stock De Rosas floating around down here, particularly Visions, and the cheaper, Vega. One shop was selling the Vision frame and fork for $1100. There's a shop in Burwood called ACR, and the last time I was there I counted 27 De Rosa frames and bikes, and they've had a lot of them for over 3 years. They must be desperate get rid of them.

Autobid, my little cupcake, way faster than you will ever manage with propagation delays etc over the ether. ;)
It was an autobid. I Just wanted to place it extremely late, though not as late as Ebay would have me do it. Tossers.

Thylo,
that prison story is an old one, I forget which brand did that before,
Torpado? no it was Giradengo (sic) and rumors about alot of others.
Billato made frames for just about every builder out there, one of the
better contract builders.
hell, who actually made Masi? they came from different cities and
you know Falerio wasn't travelling and brazing.

Hello everyone
This has absolutely nothing to do with the current thread but is a plea for help in saving my friend's life. He is about to leave the UK with his wife to spend a year cycling Australia on a tandem. They intend to Circum navigate the whole country. The trouble is I'm not too confident about them knowing what they are getting themselves into. Every Aussie I speak to just says that they will definitely die. They want to do an online tour guide for people and blog their entire trip. The website is quite nicely set up and the message boards are in place for all sorts of advice on places to visit and ways of dealing with saddle sore, but they don't really know anything themselves. Any chance of some of you posting a bit of your expertise and knowledge of Australia on there for them. The website is www.flammin-saddles.com (http://www.flammin-saddles.com)
I'd be eternally greatful if you could help.
Cheers

Problem with that strategy is it is very dependent on the speed and efficiency of your internet connection and of course, whether or not there has been a rush of bids in the closing minute by people doing the same thing. Mr Matagi does it too, usually in the last 5-10 seconds (he likes to live dangerously :) )

Physio today - disc haematoma is what they reckon... they had me in traction for 1/2 hr trying to get me to 6'.
I'm allowed on the trainer as long as I'm upright, but no racing for 2 weeks...

MartyMate, San Patrigiano isn't a prison! It's not like they've gathered up all the theiving framebuilders of the world, put them behind bars and hired them for 3 cents an hour - it's a repatriation facility for drug addicts and the disenfranchised.
I know if I had a grand in my pocket right now for a frame, I'd get a San Pat. You get a unique frame, your cash goes to a great cause....how can you beat that?
It's kinda like UBI except with less rich white boys who think after two weeks they can build Ti frames.
