What are you clowns with calculators on????!??
Tyler Hamilton did 12.7 km in 52 odd minutes? Each LAP might have been 12 and a bit kays, but I'll bet they did four of them.
Or was that course up a sheer cliff?

No way. The DBR9 was much more betterer. Pure horn of a car. I want two.

Just how steep is the course?
The Mt. Washington Hill Climb is quickly becoming known as the toughest hill climb in the world and as Dick Devellian, past Race Director, says "This is the World Championship of hill climbing. If someone wants to say they are the best climber in the world then they need to prove it here on Mount Washington."
The Mt Washington Auto Road is 7.6 miles in length, has an average grade of 12% with extended sections of 18% and the last 50 yards is an amazing 22%! Sprint that to the finish!
For some reason I seem to think that the road is not sealed either (not sure though)

who are the money/economy gurus here?
Anyone wanna assuage my fears about this Telstra sale?
This latest share price debacle, the reversal on the new 4G network, a sudden dividend offering and too much talking up of THE SALE, well, it all smells to me like the same kind of corporate/government insider trading/mismanagement shonky bullshit that went on with Enron and the like.
Why do I feel like we (Australia and Australians) are gonna get screwed on this one?

must admit, the sound coming out of that thing was phenomenal.
Here's one after the loonies at Brabus got to it...hand-built block to 660hp, carbon underbody, monster 20 inch racing alloys.

Well you have been screwed:
1) You are never ever gonna be able to sell a huge chunk and expect the sale to go well.
2) The sale should have never got to this point. The govt shoulda kept the infrastructure and sold the retail side off.
3) Sol Truijlo (or whatever) is a hard arse and will fight the entire way until he is sacked. Why did they employ him? At least he's giving it to the govt.
4) The only way I see any sale going ahead is a private sale of a controlling stake to some sort of investment bank. Of course it will be a low price, thats how those investment banks work.
I dont think its insider trading just incompetence and such a large sale of something that shouldnt be sold.
see I probably just told you what you already know, but dammit I want adsl 2+

What a great idea, lets rip the public off on it, then wait a few years until the share price halves, and then we can give it away to Macquarie bank like we do with our airports and roads.
Alright it might not strictly be insider trading but its close enough for me.

Sol Truijlo (or whatever) is a hard arse and will fight the entire way until he is sacked. At least he's giving it to the govt. I have a different perspective.
Don't fucking sell our infrastructure, you fucking assholes. It's ours. It belongs to the people, not you, you fucking short sighted, theiving assholes.:)
So what Truijillo is there to do drive the share price down, send us further into the Broadband dark ages, and hope some investment bank buys it so that maybe in the next 5-10 years we will have caught up with the rest of the world.
Yeah, that's progress. Thank you eveyone involved. Top job. :(
ps: The Merc and Aston were nice, but they're not this
