How far out? Hemel CC (I've never been along to meet any of them but I keep intending to do so one
day) runs regular time trials during the summer.

Depends what you call NorthWest London. There are time trials on the closed Circuit at Hillingdon
(Southall), and lots of TTs on the A413 (Amersham Road). Further details from the CTT site, for
London West District.
