View Full Version : London-Malta (Done)

I've just arrived in Malta 2 days ago. I've done london to Genova by bike, took a ferry to Palermo and travelled roughly along the northern and eastern coast of sicily (taking a "shortcut" through the mountains in messina) down to Pozzallo (in Ragusa).
It was my first really long tour and it was great and I met many interesting people, but unfortunately I got robbed twice in France and I was left with only my bike, mobile phone, tent, one wallet and sleeping bag. I'm mostly sad about the camera and all the photos I had on the memory cards. I had to buy some basic stuff over there to continue the trip. I am so lucky I guess!;/ However I'm already thinking of the next trip. Next time I'll be more careful.

Looks like you had a very nice tour, sorry to hear you got robbed in France.
How did it happen? Did you leave your stuff unattended?
cheers

cheersYes it was great, apart from that bit. No it wasn't unattended, I was there sleeping next to my stuff and I was so tired that I didn't wake up when they were taking the stuff.
