I will be in Tulsa on business for three weeks in August and was wondering if it is worth bringing my road bike along with me? I've never been to OK but I know its hot there.
Does anyone ride in Tulsa? Any tips you could give me?

My grandparents live in Tulsa. Tulsa does have several trails for cycling.
They have the Katy trail which runs from Sand Springs to close to downtown Tulsa. It is about 7-8 miles long. The river trail which runs from near downtown to 96th street. It is about 10 miles long. The Creek turnpike trail which runs from 96th Street to Mingo. Its about 5-6 miles in length. Then there is the Liberty trail that runs from the end of the Creek trail to 145th Street in Broken Arrow. It is about 5 miles long. The nice thing is all these trails are connected to each other, but it is nearly flat for the most part. If you are a mountain biker there is Turkey Mtn. which has some excellent trails.
here is link with some maps. Hope this helps.
