This is my sprint at the race 2 replace. Any comments on my sprinting form? I'm wondering if I'm too far forward. During my sprint I get wheel skip (side to side), I think it is at the top/bottom of the pedal stroke. It doesnt' seem to affect my sprint but I'm not sure if that is normal.

Not that I am an expert, yet, you seem to negate any aerodyanmics in the later picture. Therefore, you are most likely creating a massive air barrier for you to slip through. Think of putting your hand out of the window while driving.

In a hooded position like pic 2, you can feel little/no resistance at slow speeds. As the car speeds up, you hand becomes harder to hold in one spot cause of the air hitting it. Instead, you flatten the hand, and you can essentially move it and control it very easy. Now, think of your position. All that extra power to keep your hand in the hooded position as you speed up. Damn, it could be real useful to get another 20-50 watts into thus pedals for road resistance rather than wind!

My advice is to come back toward the seat a bit more so you don't mash. Try and keep your back as flat as possible while in this position. It should help.

Yes, hips further back, and head just a bit lower. For a sprint like this, a skipping wheel is telltale for too little weight on that wheel.

I agree, hips need to move back slightly, as for the torso, you should try getting more aero as long as it doesn't rob you power (relatively tigh hamstrings and spinal erectors, like Indurain). Do you have any wattage numbers??
