View Full Version : Lance to USPRO Criterium rumor..............

Ronde Chumpion

Hey,

The rumor was first heard two weeks ago. About that time, participation in the NY Crit was taken
off the table, and look how quickly the incorrect Zurich WC press release was discounted by the
man. It looks like the Aug 17th Chicago race is a strong possibility. You heard it here first.
Will this be on OLN? Anybody?

Thanks, Ronde Chumpion

Right - Lance at a 12 corner crit (with a history of crashes). Maybe for sponsor reasons, but he's
too big for that these days.

-a

Info.

It's usually covered by the local Fox Sports Net affiliate (Fox Sports Chicago), which you can get
on DirectTV if you pay for it (or have an illigal card). It's only an hour-long special with
highlights at best.

I would Bet San Fran will be it.

I am new to this list, and I'm not sure that I quite understand its 'vibe', so I would like to apologise if I have misunderstood a private joke of some kind.

However, the following was posted to Lance Armstrong dot com several days ago:

"For Lance, now it's time for some vacation and a little training before his final 2003 race, the San Francisco GP Sep 14."

I hope this helps.
