Vittoria shoes.......how would you rate them

Hi,

I was thinking about springing for the Vittoria 'Zenith' shoes in red from Nashbar. Anyone have any experience with Zenith shoes, or Vittoria in general? I wear a size 10 1/2 U.S. and my old Diadoras are size 45 which fit me well. The Sidi shoes in 45 also fit me well. Apparently, Vittoria sizing charts are non-existent and would like to get as much info as I can before I pull the plug. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

my post will probably not be of much use... but when i first started cycling- i remember Vittoria shoes to be THE BEST. but mind you- this was before clipless pedals (yeeeesh:eek: )

now, second time around i went looking for my old favorites- and i think their supremacy has been taken by Shimano, Nike, Sidi, etc.


much like Basso, Tommaso, etc used to be small, hand builts... and are now just names to put on mass produced frames.


i really couldnt find much info on them, anyone that carried them, or any styles that looked current...

Thanks Shmuzzy, Not very many bites on this thread...LOL :D

I'm most likely going to spring for these anyway. What little bit I've heard about them has been pretty good, so unless I suffer a Sidi moment I'll go for the Vittorias. My biggest concern is mainly fit though.
