3/2.5 Ti vs. 6/4 Ti

Does anybody have an opinion on the ride differences between 3/2.5 and 6/4 alloyed Ti?

All I know is that 6/4 ti is supposed to provide a stiffer ride, which can be good, while 3/2.5 is said to be very smooth.
